I especially like the summer courses for children. I think they are doing a good job preserving the clty's history. Mark from the history center is doing an excellent job preserving through photography places that end up being torn down.

This is very small museum. It mainly focuses on the history of Cedar Rapids. It does have a nice travel through time exhibit where you see what Cedar Rapids used to look like. They also have some old-fashioned games that kids played in older times. This museum is a good place to take younger children--K-4. They do offer school group tours.

I was not really impressed with this museum for the price I had to pay to walk through it. At the time I was there they were featuring photography by local fourth and fifth grade students. Nice photography, but I did not think it was worth paying that much to see.
