I took my kids to the Science Station this weekend and wanted to share a few comments.
My 15 year old really liked the Space Theater and my 7 and 8 year old girls liked the earthquake table, the vacuum canister, the robot arms and the whisper well. Having visited earlier in the year I was happy to see that the exhibits had been worked on and were more engaging. It was definitely an improved experience.
We also spent quite a bit of time at Games the new traveling exhibit. While it's not flashy, we had a great time playing many games. I think in the winter it will be a very nice family option for a get out of the house trip.
Finally,we went to the IMAX film Ride Around the World. It was very nice and the kids liked it. The theater was clean and well maintained.
We're looking forward to going back around the Christmas holiday to see Polar Express.

Had a chance to visit the traveling exhibit, Playing Together: Games...what a treat! We enjoyed playing games that were popular when we adults were children, as well as learning the historical significance of others. The math/science behind playing strategies, plus bi-lingual signage...all were plus factors.

I have taken the kids to the Science Station only because it was a bit cheaper to buy a combo pass to the IMAX theater at the same time. The activities are geared more towards little kids. Although the TV weather station was pretty cool and working on a blue screen.
PROS:
CONS: kinda of pricey
