Practice your Portuguese or English in a relaxed, unstructured environment at one of Lisbons many cafe/bars. Our first meeting will be held in Casa do Alentejo, upstairs in the ballroom adjacent to the bar. Beginners (like me) to native speakers are welcome to join in and enjoy speaking Portuguese, and, of course, make new friends. Interested in joining us? We will post the location of each week's Conversation Cafe, within a short walk of the nearest Metro. It's always nice to let me know if you plan on attending, but it is not obligatory, and no need to be on time, this is the opposite of school! I encourage people who would like to make a short presentation in Portuguese about any topic of their choosing, to let me know in advance so I can post. A short walk between Restauradores and Rossio Metros. Officially from 19.00h-21.00h we can stay longer if we like! I have hosted in Connversation Cafes in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic (Czech); Freiburg, Germany (English); Geneva, Switzerland (French, Spanish, German).
